Leadership Council Summary – November 3, 2025

The Leadership Council met on November 3, 2025, at the North Campus. Representatives from The Center Consulting Group (Dave Marks and Meghan Harrison) presented the New Ridge Fellowship Church Health Report, which included a detailed executive summary and full report for council review. Members discussed key findings and next steps following the presentation.

Council members who were absent will receive their printed copies through designated representatives.

The team also planned for a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 16, where The Center Consulting Group will share a summary of the church health findings with the congregation.

Leadership Council Meeting - September 22, 2025

• Center Consulting Group Introduction 

  • Meghan Harrison, Esq.

    • Introduced and Present for the whole meeting to listen and observe on behalf of Center Consulting. 

• Approval of Minutes 

  • Meeting minute approval 

    • 6/16/25 & 9/8/25

    • Motion(s): Approve the minutes. 

      • Motion(s) passed as stated (12-0)

• Appointment Update

  • Dave Reppert was appointed to the Leadership Council to complete the term of a resigned member. The term is until Dec 31, 2025. 

• Health Insurance Reimbursement Limits 

  • Discussion and vote to set 2026 Reimbursement Limits for employees. 

    • Motion: To cover the full reimbursement of 19% increase due to individual health plan costs increases. 

      • Motion passed as stated (12-0)

• Finance Update 

  • Reviewed August finances: income above budget, expenses below budget, strong cash position

  • Discussed facility needs, including sanctuary updates and future HVAC replacement

  • Outlined 2026 budget and pledging timeline (letters and consecration Sundays in October/November)

• Addressed internal concerns and member input. 

  • Leadership Council agreed to send a letter to the congregation to update on the process with the Center Consulting and address some specific issues to avoid rumors. 

• Pastor Ricky’s Contract for 2026 

  • Agreement to move forward with contract for 2026.

  • Specifics can be addressed later in the year as the contract is updated and negotiated for the new year.
